Lab 01 - Hello World

Lab 01 involves installing the development environment on your computer, and making sure you can compile and run a Java program.

For installation instructions, see:

• The class Development Environment web page, specifically the Amazon Corretto JDK Install links and Installing GitBash links.
• The class Lectures web page, specifically L03 Java Hello World, L04 Development Environment Installation, and L05 Development Environment Demonstration.

After you have installed Amazon Corretto and GitBash, please create a HelloWorld.java and compile and run it to make sure everything works on your computer.

If you have any problems, I (Prof. Bartenstein) will be available during the normal Lab period at the Office Hours Zoom link.

There is nothing to submit for this lab, and it will not be graded, but I will assume everyone has completed this work so we can build off of it in next week's lab.
