Week 1

Accomplishments:

- The problem occurred during the winter break is solved. The problem was that the system was trying to delete the pictures that has not been uploaded. We anticipate that the reason why 
  the system did not upload the pictures is the changing internet speed.

Problems:

- The system may face some internet related delays and problems.

To-Dos:

- If statement needs to be added to the wp_bot.py to check whether the pictures are exist or not to delete them.
- Investigate wp_bot.py's working system and the connections between other files that does all the work with automation.

Week 2

Accomplishments:

- There was lots of images on the website because, we commented out the delete image line in the main function. The reason why those images stayed in the website is found and solved. It 
  was because system allows only 50 images to delete once. After deleting all the extra images,  we tested to the code again and it ran successfully.

Problems:

Week 3

Accomplishments:

- We had meeting with Professor Jones and talked about current photo uploading problem and future improvements for the website.
- The new duty is to separate the different satellite pictures into different folders and adding new header to the Kopernik Weather Station page about which satellite's pictures are shown.
- We created new media folders for each satellite and matched each current photos with related folders in Wordpress.

Problems:

- The system may face some internet related delays and problems.
- We could not add new folders on the Kopernik Weather Station page.

To-Dos:

- If statement needs to be added to the wp_bot.py to check whether the pictures are exist or not to delete them.
- Investigate wp_bot.py's working system and the connections between other files that does all the work with automation.
- Create folders for each satellite on the webpage.

Week 4

Accomplishments:

- We had meeting with Professor Jones and talked about photo uploading problem happens once in a while and future improvements for the website.
- We created new galleries for each satellite.
- Three new webpages are created for each satellite and placed under Kopernik Weather Station page.
- Also, on the Kopernik Weather Station webpage, three links are created to direct users to the last 7 days satellite images.
- Solutions are checked for the delete problem occurs when there is no image to delete and some trials are done.

Problems:

- The system may face some internet related delays and problems.

Week 5

Accomplishments:

- We got our CPTs for this term.
- We had meeting with Professor Jones and talked about photo uploading problem happens once in a while and future improvements for the website.
- We talked about new Pages and Links which are in Kopernik Weather Station.
- This week, some pictures in the Today folder are uploaded more than once after Thursday. 
- We tried to understand its reason and investigated possible problems that may cause this.
- We prepared slide about the work done so far for the meeting on Monday.

Problems:

- The system may face some internet related delays and problems.
- On mobile mode, website does not allow to click Kopernik Weather Station, it opens a dropdown menu which has NOAA15, 18 and 19's Archives.

Week 6

Accomplishments:

- We had meeting with Professor Jones and Andrew talked about the work we have done and project's future improvements and updates.
- We talked about satellite scheduling and how it works.
- We talked about Kopernik Weather Station webpage's arrangements for better user interface.
- We searched image display options and searched how to customize it.
- We checked system on the photo uploading process's predicted time and got some information by using Task Manager.
- We tracked the system and Task Manager to understand the work flow.
- We searched and checked those files on the system.

Problems:

- The system may face some internet related delays and problems.
- On mobile mode, website does not allow to click Kopernik Weather Station, it opens a dropdown menu which has NOAA15, 18 and 19's Archives.

Week 7

Accomplishments:

- We did some research about creating non-clickable menu item and made some trials on the website.
- We made changes on the header menu for being able to click on Kopernik Weather Station on both Desktop and Mobile versions of the website.
- To do that, we created a whole new menu display option on WordPress' Appearance section.
- We searched image display options and searched how to customize it.

Problems:

- The system may face some internet related delays and problems.
- There is still an internet problem going on and it prevents even manual interactions on the Chromium.

To-Dos:

- If statement needs to be added to the wp_bot.py to check whether the pictures are exist or not to delete them.
- Add new functions to the wp_bot.py to automate adding photos to their own archives.
- New display way of Kopernik Weather Station.

Week 8

Date: 03/16/2020

Accomplishments:

- Because of the unfortunate incident of burning up of Raspberry Pi, we had to do some research about lost files that we were using on the Pi.
- We searched the copies of those lost folders on the internet to recover and repair the system.

Problems:

- Raspberry Pi burned up and all the files gone.

- Recover the lost files and folders to make system work as desired again.

Week 9

Accomplishments:

- We had meeting on Zoom with Professor Jones and Andrew.
- We talked about collapsed system and ways to gain old performance.
- We made some researches about how to implement BiasT. 
- Also, we examined old version of wp_bot.py and tried to implement previous changes which was the last version on the previous Raspberry Pi.

Problems:

- Raspberry Pi burned up and all the files gone.

- Recover the lost files and folders to make system work as desired again.

Week 10

Accomplishments:

- We had meeting on Zoom with Professor Jones and Andrew.
- We talked about collapsed system and ways to gain old performance.

- Also, we examined old version of wp_bot.py and tried to implement previous changes which was the last version on the previous Raspberry Pi.
- We arranged files that is used for wp_bot.py and we tried to put files in their own places to execute system correctly.
- We tried to implement wp_bot.py changes to work it correctly.

Problems:

- Some files may not be on their right locations and that may cause some system working problems.

Week 11

Accomplishments:

- We had meeting on Zoom with Professor Jones and Andrew.
- We talked about the old files that we put in the new system.
- We tried to rebuild system. But we faced some problems about raspberry pi modules. 
- We tried to install those modules to new raspberry pi.
- We tried to install chromium driver to raspberry pi but we faced problems about user permission. 
- We tried to solve that problem by using root access but it did not work properly.
- We needed to install every module and installation about python and chromium step by step. We made researches about system integration with that chromium driver.
- We made some changes in wp_bot.py according to errors that are related with installation of chromium driver.

Problems:

- Some files may not be on their right locations and that may cause some system working problems.
- Chromium driver still is not accessible by wp_bot.py.

To-Dos:

- Recover the lost files and folders to make system work as desired again.

Week 12

Date: 04/19/2020

Place:

Accomplishments:

- We had meeting on Zoom with Professor Jones and Andrew.
- We tried to rebuild system. But we faced some problems about raspberry pi modules. 
- We edited some lines on the wp_bot.py.
- We solved driver error partially. Now, we do not get the error that we were getting last week.
- Now, we have version mismatch error. We searched and found out that Chromium and chrome driver needs to have same versions.
- We tried many different chrome drivers to solve this problem however, we are still getting operating system error about exec format mismatch on chrome driver.

Problems:

- Some files may not be on their right locations and that may cause some system working problems.
- Chrome driver still is not accessible by wp_bot.py.

Week 13

Accomplishments:

- We had meeting on Zoom with Professor Jones and Andrew.
- We edited some lines on the wp_bot.py.
- We transferred Chrome Driver to the Firefox ESR driver.
- We solved driver problem by installing new version of geckodriver.
- We located it under usr/lib/firefox-esr.
- Now, we do not get driver error but wp_bot.py opens Firefox browser but then program stops executing.

Problems:

- Some files may not be on their right locations and that may cause some system working problems.

- Recover the lost files and folders to make system work as desired again.

Week 14

Date: 05/03/2020

Place:

Attandance: Pinar Tezcan, Zeynep Bayraktar, Merwyn Jones, Andrew Deskur

Accomplishments:

- We had meeting on Zoom with Professor Jones and Andrew.
- We edited some lines on the wp_bot.py.
- We got some errors on wp_bot.py about services on Firefox ESR driver.
- So, we transferred Firefox ESR back to Chrome Driver.
- We assigned web driver to chromium-browser to see what will happen. It ended up with just opening the browser and then we got same error about services.
- We could not make it work on Chrome Driver either then we tried solve version problem.
- To solve that problem, we tried to upgrade Chromium. However, we encountered with an error about not having enough free space on /var/cache/apt/archives/.
- We still have some version mismatching problem.

Problems:

- Some files may not be on their right locations and that may cause some system working problems.
