Summary

• The Grove is a popular bar and restaurant located in downtown Binghamton. Our

goal is to create a simple, user-friendly mobile app that makes it easy for our guests to stay connected with our specials, events, and private booking options. The app should focus on clean design, easy readability, and functionality that enhances the customer experience.

Accomplishments

• Discussed which kinds of apps should we use to build the Grove app.
• Researched Flutter and React apps.
• Distributed roles for the project.
• Agreed on using two different apps for the beginning and compare the result.

Week 2 26/09/2025

Summary

• This week, we focused on deciding which tool would be more useful for building the Grove app. We found an ai tool which is a React based one called "Bolt.new" and compared it with the previous apps that we built using Flutter.

Accomplishments

• Built a demo (just interface, front end) with Bolt.new.
• Compared it with the previous apps that we built by using Flutter.
• Discussed about how to update the app looking at the example interface.

TO DO

• Showing the interfaces to the Project manager and the employer from the Grove in order to decide which interface we will update and use.
• Planning to complete the interface and where to start.

Week 3 03/10/2025

Summary

• This week, we updated the app by adding a main page, a reservation tab and some other features like address, contact info. We also planned a way to start building an autonomous ai assistant for the Grove phone line.

Accomplishments

• The main page is updated and added features like the address and a button for google maps.
• Reservation tab added
• Contact information added
• A plan is drawn to start working on the autonomous ai assistant.

TO DO

• Working on phone integration with ai.
• Creating food menu and list of activities.

Week 4 10/10/2025

Summary

• This week, we updated the app by adding a menu and fixing some features according to the requests from manager. We also kept working on the autonomous ai assistant.

Accomplishments

• A menu page is added to the app based on the menu on the Grove's website.
• The address information is deleted from the bottom of the main page and added next to the "Welcome to the Grove" title as a slide option.
• Researches been made about prices and getting a phone number for the ai assistant.

TO DO

• Fixing the address on the app.
• Speaking with manager and project manager about the autonomous ai assistant and some other features in the app (like menu).

Week 5 10/17/2025

Summary

• This week, we updated the wrong address on the app. Then we found some plans for autonomous ai assistant to discuss with the manager. We also updated the menu, based on the new information we got.

Accomplishments

• The address is fixed.
• Researched and found some plans for the autonomous ai.
• New arrangements made for the menu based on the new information provided.

TO DO

• Deciding the exact plan we are gonna use for the autonomous ai assistant.
• Updates on food and drink menu, based on the physical menu's of the Grove.
• Adding new "Brunch" and "Happy Hours" tabs for their own special menu.

Week 6 11/7/2025

Summary

• This week, we updated the menu according to the photos of the Grove's menus. Then, we added a brunch tab and a happy hour tab. Korel decided the plans we need for the autonomous ai assistant. Works are a little delayed because of Rosh Hashanah days and Korel's urgent trip to Turkey.

Accomplishments

• The food and drink menu is updated based on the Grove's current menus.
• Happy hour tab is made for it's own special menu.
• Brunch tab is made for it's own special menu.
• The needed plans for autonomous ai is decided.

TO DO

• Talking with the manager about the plan and start if possible.
• Showing the menu to the manager to make new arrangements based on his requests.
