The buttonTest Sample places two buttons into a panel and the adds the panel to the "South" portion of a border layout. The "North" portion of the Border Layout contains a Text Area. Pleas note that TextAreas are meant for text input and do not make a very good output tool; unless you are willing to go to the work of making them more general purpose by adding "wrapping" and automatic adjustment for the current font metrics.
Since this class extends the CloseableFrame class make sure that you have the compiled class file for CloseableFrame in the same directory as ButtonTest.java when you compile ButtonTest.
