 Biography

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Binghamton University (State University of New York at Binghamton). Before joining Binghamton University, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at National Renewable Energy Laboratory and an Assistant Professor at Governors State University. I received my Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Dr. Chenyang Lu from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. Prior to my PhD, I received a M.Phil. degree from City University of Hong Kong and a B.Eng. degree from Beihang University. My research interests include Wireless Networking, Internet of Things, Applied Machine Learning, Network Security, and Cyber-Physical Systems. I am an  IEEE Senior Member, an ACM Senior and Lifetime Member, and a Sigma Xi Member.

I am looking for self-motivated PhD students! Prospective students with interest and expertise in Wireless Networking, Internet of Things, Applied Machine Learning, Network Security, and Cyber-Physical Systems are welcome to contact me through email.
