Research Interests

My research interests lie in the general area of wireless ad hoc networks. Specifically, I am interested in the areas of wireless sensor network (WSN) security and mesh networks.

My masters research work focused on sensor network security. My work at the time focused on two main aspects (1) defining security requirements of a WSN based on application requirements and criticality, and (2) developing an anti-traffic analysis protocol for WSNs.

Currently, for my PhD, I am working on quantifying the effects of interference and scheduling on network performance. The eventual goal of this work is to be able to characterize scheduling effects of wireless MAC layer and have near optimal routing policies that are aware of these effects.
